Erica Thiering
Erica started her racing career in 2006 at her hometrack Edmonton International Speedway in Edmonton, Alberta. She competed in the Feature Stock division with her first racecar a 1991 Honda Accord. In her first year of competition she placed 4th out of 40 competitors. By her second season in the division she went on to win the championship.
In 2008 she became the first woman to win a NASCAR Whelen All American Series championship. In 2010 Erica started her first year in the weekly late model division at Edmonton International Raceway. SInce then she has gone on to win a total of 6 NASCAR Whelen All American Series Championships and a total of 9 championships in four different classes.
In 2014 Erica participated in the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway and finished 8th out of 40 competators after seven days of racing. She also made her debut in the NASCAR Pinty's Series with a total of five starts she had two top tens.
In 2015 Erica signed on with Canada's Best Race Team. Competed in six events in the NASCAR Pinty's Series and won the NWAAS Championship at Edmonton Raceway.
In 2016 Erica has competed in the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway. She will be racing select NASCAR Whelen All American Series Events at Edmonton International Speedway and Las Vegas Bullring.
